Germin etrex

I've made my own serial cable for my etrex out of two small
pices of electrical pin board files to fit the etrex socket.
I'll put up a guide once I've perfected the plug.

I bought my GPS Thursday night from Global Positioning Systems.
I receved it Saturday morning and went out to play with it all that day
Sunday I made a cable to connect it to the computer. By that night I'd corrupted the ROM using tring to update the BIOS.
I contacted Garmin today, Monday & I'll be cycling to Southhamption tomorow to get it repaired.
